BH 411 Writing for Health Professions

Prerequisites: None. Accurate, clear, and professional communication is a necessary skill for health professionals. In academic, administrative, and clinical settings, there are expectations for how to write. In this course you will learn to: 1) correctly use the English language in academic and professional writing, 2) use strategies to improve your writing and respectfully edit the work of others, and 3) become familiar with using conventions of academic writing in North America. This course will meet these goals through a variety of learning activities including readings, written assignments of varying lengths, and quizzes.
