9.1 Attendance Requirements
Students must attend all classes, assigned experiences, and fieldwork, and are expected to arrive on time. Because of the interactive and collaborative nature of professional education and the rigor of this academic program, class attendance is essential for successful learning. Faculty expects continuous participation to maintain the proper flow of course material. The curriculum has been designed for in-person attendance and participation. Team-based Learning (TBL) courses require attendance to complete work with teammates together at the beginning of class. In addition, as a model of professional practice, consistent attendance and punctuality is considered part of one’s professional commitment.
